Meet the teams working on Castleford's Long-Term Plan
Wakefield Council
Wakefield Council are the accountable body for the Long-Term Plan and are the leading project team to ensure positive change is delivered. The team are also working on the Castleford Town Deal, supporting the delivery of the Strategic Regeneration Framework and ongoing works across Castleford. The aim is to create successful places for people to live, work and visit.
Gleeds
Gleeds have been commissioned by Wakefield Council to write and produce the Long-Term Plan. This includes a 10-year vision document and a 3-year investment plan. Gleeds are also supporting the delivery of a range of regeneration and improvements across the Wakefield District.
Beam
Beam have been commissioned by Wakefield Council to undertake a series of creative engagement sessions in collaboration with local artist Emmeline North, to gather your views and thoughts on what you think should be incorporated into the Long-Term Plan. Beam have also supported a range of public art and creative projects across the Wakefield District.
Commonplace
Commonplace connects you to the people who create the places where you live, work and play. A platform to speak and be heard by developers, councils, and public bodies to initiate better decisions and places for all.
